  • mcpx v2 tail wag

Got myself an mcpx v2 BNF for christmas. All was ok at first, but after a couple of weeks I have a tail that wags left / right every second or so. Nothing major just a bit anoying. The mcpx has not been crashed, changed tail rotor blade. Any thoughts or ideas would be apreciated.

have a close look at where the boom meets the body . Look for cracks/fractures as the stock boom splinters very easily at very low impact , this happened to mine and was causing the very same sympoms untill i fixed it with a little C/A

Found the main gear was not set correct on the main shaft. My local hobby shop pointed out that there is a flat on the main shaft which must align with the main gear. I have also fitted the Microheli Alu/Carbon Fiber Landing Gear w/Tail Support which has also reduced the tail wag. Hope this information helps.
