  • Missing Tail Fin

Does the tail fin add much value on an MCPX (or any heli for that matter)? I noticed it missing from my heli this afternoon but it didn't seem have any impact on my flying. It could just be that my flying is that bad it's difficult to spot the difference .

    Is it worth replacing?

think it can be more helpfull in faster flight it helps to smooth the heli out but in honesty open holed ones seem to do very little and are more for looks

its great for orientation (makes it easier to see which way your facing) except that it doesnt do a lot i dont think

In all honesty flying stock I found it worked better without a fin.

thanks for the answers, I'll not worry about it until I break something else and have to place another order for spares.

I think the tail fins are more for the protection of the tail rotor when you land etc... rather than for stability in flight
