  • Flying Question

This may be a very silly question, but I'll ask anyway. All my Heli's have been flybarred up until now. I have just bought a mcpx. I understand this is a flybarless Heli, but does it react the same as the bigger ones i.e. when taking off do you have to leave the cyclic controls alone? Will it react the same as the bigger flybarless heli's and tip over as the gyro compensates for any input on the cyclic?

Yes, it will, it's not crazy flip flop, just try to leave the cyclic alone and give it a quick punch off the ground. As soon as the skids leave the ground and the heli can react to input it's solid as a (very small) rock.
