Is there any way of increasing the gain on the brushless mcpx? Twitchy as it is it actually flies pretty well just the tail hold is abit crap, doesnt wag or anything and sort of holds negative pitch from inverted but blows out about 45 degrees with not that much positive pitch....

I know others have made those tweaks, often chasing a wag free tail, but I don't generally believe it's needed to prevent the tail blowing out. That's normally more of a mechanical cause. Was it running ok before, or has it always done this?
Some of the usual causes for a poor tail on the mCPX (in order of cheapest & most likely, to most expensive) are:
- Tail rotor pushed in a little too far, binding against the motor
- Hair or something wrapped around the tail shaft (it can be a tiny, tiny piece of hair)
- Bent tail rotor blades (can sometimes be twisted back into shape)
- Hairline crack in the tail rotor blades (if you've had any kind of crash it's worth a try, I used to keep spares on hand just so I could rule this out)
- Cracked tail boom (the stock hollow boom cracks easily, and can appear solid but with fractures weakening it where it joins the main frame)
- Failing motor
- Bad wiring or board (fairly rare, but unfortunately rather expensive if it happens)
I generally ran an extended solid tail boom, and the Lynx 42mm tail blades. The tail would hold through most moves with that, although there are limits to how much you can get away with on this kind of tail design.Helis: Oxy 2 FE / Oxy 2 Sport / Protos 380 / Oxy 4 Max / Gaui X3 380mm
