AEO Carbon frame and 1.7g servos for mcpx v2.

Hi all. Just built up my MCPX carbon frame and fitted the servos. Upon connecting the battery I could smell a strong burning odour. Found one of the cyclic servos had melted a hole straight through the plastic case and was well on the way to catching fire. Anybody else had this issue, or am I just unlucky?
Also anybody know where i can get some more 1.7g servos, other than hk? Tried googleing etc, but keeps coming up with HK.
