How does msrx fly compared to a msr.

My msr needs a lot of bits changing and it seems cheaper to get the msrx. I've seen a video and it travels in a straight line like a normal heli, which my msr never did. It even seems to fly outside. Does it have any of the self correction of the msr, or does it just fly like a normal heli?

Is the model in Phoenix realistic or can it be made realistic?

I can see a problem at takeoff in a gym when it would try to move to the left until corrected. How long do you have to wait to input the roll correction without screwing up the controller? Or do you use a mat with some friction?

Just take off - its not that bad if you use the cyclic when it's light on the skids, it's just if you go full cyclic at mid stick it gets confused!

mates got the new and old version new version is rock solid in hover..... flys around quicker and is really locked in even on the paltry 6i dsm2 mode... plus feels safer to hove in his cabin!!!!

I found it's much more agile than original msr. but still fairly stable. Here's a quick outdoor flight I did.

Just one thing, many people are reporting problems with motor. It seems the motor fails randomly. So just be aware of that.

Thanks. Looks like a better bet than fixing my msr. Seems to fly in a staright line ok. I must get one for the Winter indoor sessions.

Ive not flown the MSR but I do have the MSRX it's great fun indoors but it has to be dead calm to fly outside otherwise you get the 'dolphin'. Great for hover practice as it doesnt hack the walls like my mcpx lol!
