  • mCP X tail on mSR X

    Hi,

Anyone on here fitted the mCP X v2 tail assembly on to the mSR X.

Read about it being used over the pond, just wondered if there were any results over here?

Answering my own question....I fitted one today.

Unbelievable- what a difference it makes. Should have been fitted by Blade in the first place IMHO.

I'll borrow my mates spare mcpx tail and give it a try.

          Hello Dragonfly118

I tried a new mCPX tail assembly on my mSR X and the tail just kept kicking out to the left so i put the original tail back on and it is that steady i can land it in my hand in front of me.

dragonfly, I eventually borrowed my mates spare tail off of his mcpx and it was good.I fitted my own mcpx tail it seems much better to control now, especially turning. Now that the tail rotors out of the wash from the main rotor it makes it much more steadier.

              Well Guys,

A bit of a mixed result here!

upintheclouds, glad it worked for you

Dave, mine was rock solid up until the main motor started to die, since the I haven't been able to try it again.Motor still hasn't arrived from the US and the one I sent back to HH hasn't been replaced. I've got a feeling they're out of stock as well as all the model suppliers.

Still, now I've got my mCP X I'm not so bothered, might even kick the mSR X into touch anyway if spares aren't going to be readily available
