  • Stock battery

I use 4 batteries with my MSR. For some reason when I use the stock one the heli flies with little control and yet is fully charged. Is that a problem anyone else has encountered?

Hi. I've had the heli since Christmas, so I recon about 15 times. The other batteries are Overlanders.
I kept thinking that perhaps its just me, seeing as im only at the hovering-in-each-direction level, but there is definitely less control with that battery.
Obviously the answer is not to use that battery, but it would just be nice to know what is going on

The Overlander Packs are probably giving you more power, so more head speed, which in turn would make the heli feel more responsive.

Hi Boony. Aha that makes sense. Shame that they would include a battery that makes the heli harder to fly.

I've had a few stock e -flite batteries go off after only few flights on my nano cpx,i ended up using the 45c e -flight batteries instead which were vast improvement,so may be good idea to replace your stock battery before you do some damage to heli.

Good idea, TY. I took delivery of an MSRX today, which included some ip batteries, so the eflite stock one will not be missed.
