OK. Will do, Bob, but that will have to be at the weekend. What I would really like to do is get a shot of it in the half light of an evening, but can't do the camera bit and control the machine myself - yet!

Yes, could do, but would rather hand hold the camera - more control.

I'd like to see it too pls? See how you've run it. My new tail's on order now so I'm really hoping SMC get that and the ally bits to me in time for the w/end.

                  NAV LIGHTS - pictures

Here are the pictures of the nav light installation in my CX2. It's a bit basic but it is only meant to keep the wires out of the way when re-fitting the body and this it does quite well. The power connection is (very carefully) to the Aux outlet on the receiver.

Please see further back in this thread for retailer and other information. Regards, Nigel

My problem is I'm loathe to cut holes in the actual body, so tend to use the little sticky pads to put them on.

I'm a bit like that but just had to bite the bullet and now that I have done it I am more than happy. Measure the diameter of the item and select the drill for that size. Then mark the spot carefully (with a little dent which the drill end will slot into). Start with a small pilot driill and build up the size in about three stages keeping the drill speed slow.
