  • cx2 problem?

Hey guys, I'm very new to the forum and to the world of helis.

    Be gentle with me LOL.

I recently got a used cx2, it was flying like a dream until a little crash. I broken the inner shaft. Replaceed the inner shaft and now it Is like the rudder is stuck to the left.

    The heli just spins ....

I have tried adjusting trim on the controller and the mixer pot but there is no change.

    Any ideas guys ?
    Thank-you
    Callan

Hi callan and welcome to the forum.
Its most likely that when you replaced the inner shaft, you didn't tighten the lower gear hub screws properly onto the shaft (I believe there's a flat on the shaft) This will allow it to slip and give the symptom you describe.

nice one callan glad its sorted out i am still shocked at the way your local heli club treated you and took the p*ss out of you for having a small helicopter i makes me mad how elitist some people can be because they have a bigger helicopter eveyone has to start somewhere i really think you should name and shame that club and the way they treated you

glad its sorted and your back flying enjoy

Hey callan, that really sucks m8. Elitist attitudes are just so dam annoying. Who the hell do they think they are Take no notice of the idiots, everybody was a total newb at some point and they were no different.
As for the CX2, Well I think its a great heli and I've actually still got my mine. In fact I actually started with an mCX which is a much smaller heli. See hear so that's no measure of what's to come.

Stick with it m8, take your time and enjoy the hobby at your own pace.
