700X cheap at rcheliguru

Just noticed rcheliguru have dropped their price of the 700x again. £799 now for the HV-combo (minus ESC). Assuming you know the BMFA discount code, that'd be £760 for the heli, Revolution main+tail blades, HV servos, AR7200BX FBL + 520Kv motor.

Pretty good deal really ...

It's a solid 700 and good value for money at that price. Even if you forget the heli, the blades, motor, HV servos and beastx are nearly worth that price on their own. Just pointing it out, that's all.

Seen one of these in the flesh and flying. If I had the cash and was in the market for a 700 I'd buy this combo without hesitation, although prior to seeing one for real I probably would have second thoughts given E-flight's poor design and materials decisions regarding their first TT heli, the 130x.

I think the initial price, for an HV setup, was ok'ish. Thing is, many people don't necessarily want or need HV servos, and Align offer the 700e with normal servos for cheaper. Their HV setup would be more expensive than the blade however. At the other end if the scale, for the barebones kit, the TT e700 is £50 cheaper too.

At this price however, it's a ridiculously good deal. Given that the value of the included parts are ..

£110 main and tail blades
£150 beastx
£320 HV servos
£190 520kv motor.

So over £700 of electronics making the heli itself practically free!
