The advert has changed since yesterday when they were advertising it for £799. Not sure why it has gone up since then??

I really don't want to turn this thread into a Blade promo or bashing thread, but the 700X is a very different machine to Blade's micros and it would be wrong to judge the pro series based upon experiences with the micros. The 700X is a very good machine that is getting some really good reviews (check out rchelination or Rotorworld this month if you like). Obviously, I have one, and very proud and happy with it I am.

I merely point out that for those in the market for a good 700 (especially if, like me, you're not a fan of the DFC concept), this promo is good value for an HV setup. Fast lad have a similar price but are showing out of stock at the moment.

Although the price has gone up after the halloween specials ended, their BMFA 5% discount code is working again bringing the price down to £787.55.

Not only are fast lads out of stock, they appear to be not selling it anymore or indeed any parts for it. Is this the fastest released, price reduced and discontinued heli in existence....?

Blade have (I believe) discontinued this particular SKU (product id) because they're releasing a new SKU with the Castle EDGE ESC controllers as part of the bundle. That said, I had a chat with some guys at another large distributor in the UK recently, and the bemoaned that very few 700 class helis were selling of any manufacturer, Blade included. Times are tough, and sales of 700's simply aren't that huge.

Horizon Hobby have confirmed on Helifreak that the 700x is going nowhere. They've invested too much in its development to drop it.

In the UK, Midland have a full complement of spares for the it.

Worst comes to the worst, if sales in the UK are too small, there's always HH/UK who could supply spares, or you buy from the continent or the US.
