If I'm honest, I'm not totally convinced either. I think they look just a little too short for the size of the canopy. Personally though, I don't really have a problem with the stock one-piece skids. They're tough and inexpensive. The stock ones come in black too which I do think improves the look mind.

Looks nice to me,
I have to say I am a big fan of their Orange G10 Fins also, they are affordable & really visible.

Stiff whisky will sort you out! I do wonder if they'll grow on me a bit these skids ... certainly they make the heli very low profile! Who am I kidding, I'll probably end up with a set ..

The more I see your heli the more I want one,,but I don't like those skids,,I prefer the look of the stock ones.

That's not my heli in the photo - mine has stock skids. The Lynx skids are growing on me though ....

Looks are very much a subjective subject. Personally, I really like the looks of the 550X. If/when you see one for real - take a look at the head assembly and main frames ... its simple and robust design is quite attractive I think. The canopy obviously divides opinion, but again I like it. It doesn't look like just another "standard/run of the mill" canopy to me (frankly, I can't tell a TSA from an Align at first glance!). The stark green/white/black shows up very well in the sky and again, upon close inspection, the canopy is looks really nice ( IMHO! )

True - hands up! I suppose I think that with so many people (who don't own these products) knocking them just because they're Blade, I do try to provide an owners viewpoint. Clearly I am biased though, as I bought one!

And you reasoning about all cano's looking the same is a good one, thats why I have Raptors and Vibes!

Yep - it's why I like the Goblins too. My Trex might get an airwolf fuse at some point ...
