Yup, a buggered anti rotation bearing.

Be careful - a mate crashed a Trex 500 yesterday and trashed the one way bearing. Yours could have been damaged in the crash.
I would still check everything else very carefully.

Exasperated!!!!! Flew the bird following rebuild with new anti rotation bearing. 2 min 39 into flight, the tail went again !!!!!!
Managed to land her safely though. I noticed that the tail servo ( new savox ) was locked into full left turn travel and wouldn't respond to the stick. I disconnected & reconnected batt and the servo centred and then moved to stick as normal.
So, receiver or gyro. The gyro is the standard eflite G210.
Any ideas please guys ??

Sounds like tail limits are not set, the servo should not be able to travel to its full extent. Try moving the ball on the horn out one hole and redo the tail limits

Time for a new Gyro. I would try either a Futaba 611 or Spartan quark or DS 760. My first choice would be a quark, easy to setup and awesome Gyro.
You can bag a new quark for £60 from spartan or a used one for about 30ish from ebay. Personally given the hassle you have had I would buy new. Angelos's backup and support is first class.

Thanks guys. I don't think moving the hole on the servo horn will make a difference since I was only hovering when the servo went full left. I think I will try a new gyro.
