  • DEVO 10 settings for Blade 450X

I have converted the settings from the manual for a Dx7 to my Devo 10 radio, except I am not sure about how to do the pitch curves. I can't find the pitch curve menu anywhere. also there are AIL_CYC and ELE_CYC DR&EXPO settings that I have on my VWINRC450 FBL heli that I am not sure If I should use on the BeastX on the 450X. I have been looking into this for a couple hours now and from what I've gathered those AIL_CYC DR&EXP settings are only there for the ZYX FBL controller, which needs transmitter mixing, and the BeastX does the mixing mechanically? is this right?
Does anyone have a DEVO 10? I have the dev seftware upgrade 3.0 also in case that matters

oh man, I just found the page that says advanced mixer gui or standard ! I had copied the VWINRC450 FBL heli which uses the ZYX flybarless controlller to make the Blade 450X settings and it had the advanced mixer gui, which has the electronic mixing, I switched it over to standard mixer gui and there it is. everything I was looking for, 1 servo swash, travel adjusts, throttle curves, pitch curves (both had 8 points which is a bit overkill) switch assignments.

I guess I found my own solution, but at least its here if anyone else has the same issue or if anyone has any more knowledge to add. (I'm a heli noob)

I'm curious... How are you going to bind a 450x to a devo radio?.

With Devo txs you can update the software from "deviationtx dot com" it gives you a better interface with more options, one of them being protocol. I can choose to use DSM2, DSMX, any Devo or walkera rxs and a few more without physically modding the DEVO 10.
And if I want to use turnigy (example 9x) rx or flysky, frsky, Hubsan or skyartek rxs there is a small physical mod, but switchable between them all depending on which of the 30 stored models I use(and setup).
This is the reason I bought the radio. It's been great so far an I can use all the rx I have gathered over the years
