In which case, the 450X shouldn't disappoint. However, you might find this vid interesting too ... The 300X also has the AR7200BX unit ..

I had a 300X, twitchy as hell, sensitive to wind. The 450 is far superior in handling and stability. Not once did I bring the 300X home intact. Oh, and 300X costs the same to repair as the 450X. Always feathering shaft and always main shaft and blades. The shafts are thin and the mainshaft has an inherent weakness around the bottom screw hole that means it always bends at that point. I kissed the ground with the blade tips once. Blaades survived but feathering and main shafts, nope. Both bent.

So, since the repair costs are the same...

Spot on It's a no brainer really but you need to have had both and crashed both to know that it's a no brainer. I realised I'd wasted my money on the 300X. But, as the 450X donated the FBL unit to my 500 so the 300X donated it's to the 450 Pro V2. I have loads of spares for the 300X plus batteries and I really must get around to selling them. I keep forgetting. 300X and 450X share quite a few parts.

Oh, since getting the 500 the 450 looks positively tiny now.
