Toms Blade 450 X thread

Hello

After switching from FB to FBL the Blade 450 X is so far the best heli that i have flown

The beast X is amazing i simply love it, rock solid and locked in tighter then a convict in Texas jail.

Im looking to gradually add some ally hop ups to the bird for now i have changed the servos to Savox as the stock plastic ones just strip when you crash also i have changed the canopy to a blade 450 3D model one which i modded the holes.

Hi Tom, congratulations, you have made fantastic progress, I am still struggling with the TRex and constantly repairing stupid bits following breakdowns rather than crashes!! My Raptor should be ready soon BUT I must admit seeing your progress with the Blade makes me wonder!!!!

hi mate not sure if you saw my T-Rex 450 thread. I just couldnt fly the thing it was like flying a dead pig!

Beast-X + FBL its so stable and locked in love it!!!

Hey Tom. Watching your vids since I just got a 450x myself. I notice in your part 1 video that a woman with a pram and kids is walking in front of where you're flying. Remember, those carbon fibre blades are spinning at over 3000RPM in idle-up mode. That means the blade tips (72.5cm diameter) are doing around 215 MPH. An accident involving human flesh would have very serious consequences!

You might want to wait until the kids have gone - or find somewhere safer to practice!
