Hi guys, have just had my 450x back from horizon after a vibration issue I that I just could not find lol
I got the heli back and they have replaced the ar7200bx and tail shaft/grips etc but have also removed my savox tail servo saying it would not be fast enough? I decided to take their word and fly it anyway...
First flight/set up, not a problem!
2nd flight started well but between 2/3 mins in as I went inverted and came down on the left stick the heli seemed to lose power (even though I was in idle up)
3rd flight the heli took 3 attempts to bind and upon take off became very unpredictable. . I hovered at around 5feet and gave a sharp input upwards on the left stick, the heli took a second to react and then shot upwards for longer than I had held the stick, as I came back to mid stick to allow the heli to fall it came back to ground as if I had given a full negative pitch input? The heli then returned to a hover and as I tried again the exact same thing happened, I again returned to a hover a few feet infront of myself where the heli stayed stable for a few seconds, suddenly it tipped backwards and came at me even though I gave no elevator input what so ever??! I decided best to call myself lucky and leave it until I had better chance to look it over!
I tried to re bind the heli to my dx8 and after several attempts had no joy, then I swithed the battery for a brand new one horizon had sent and got the heli to bind on first attempt?! All ar7200bx settings were correct, plus sensor directions etc and I made sure no servos or swash were binding, all moved freely etc. .
Back to the field and the heli is still the same, the slightest pitch input either way on the transmitter is alot more than it should be in the air and also seems somewhat delayed?....or the heli has developed a mind of its own lol
The heli has savox cyclic servos, an apparently new ar7200bx and I use a dx8 transmitter, does anyone have any ideas what could be at fault or what I could be doing wrong?
P.s sorry foe the longwinded description lol
Cheers guys
