bring it down tomorrow, and we can take a look...

most likely thing is that it is just out of trim

make sure your not standing wonky

All that is said above could be the cause, probably something small like it being out of trim as said

Gave the 450 a good looking at, all is well i thought until i spooled it up, at the first couple of spins a noticed a noise, gear/teeth kind of noise. Wassat ? shut it down, turns out the tail belt was loose, so i tightened that up the while i was in that neck of the woods also noticed that the boom if slightly out of line, cant see that it's bent but it's not fitting in the frame square...

              New boom ?

It certainly wouldn't help! It would mean that the boom isn't straight with the gyro, which would throw it off I suspect and make it try to correct all the time. Logically to me, that would imply a tendence to spin rather than drift, but who knows. Certainly it needs fixing, and troubleshooting with it bent is a non-starter. Also, the bend will possibly cause the belt to rub more in the tube, possibly shortening its life. All in all, needs replacing!

You know that a certainamount of left drift is normal, yes ?

                      Okey doke new belt too.

Yes i learnt from the 120 sr that they drift to the left, but this is left tries to invert itself left...

                        severe drift?

Ok, that's not normal! One thing you might want to look at is the flybar paddles too. I never really sussed them out to be honest, but as I understand it, not level paddles can cause severe drift (back/left or right/forwards).

Trying to tune a flybar is what drove me to flybarless! Kev Davies might know more, he's a stalwart of the flappy things I believe.
