I was a bit worried about that, glad I ran out of batteries or it could have been a complete mess

As this seems to be the official blade 400 post on RHA, I thought others would like links to 2 other highly informative threads:

"Ade later noticed that there was no timer function which is a bit of a shame."

Just bought a Blade misen, cant fly it yet tho.

I wasn't sure, but I thought I'd read about a timer, so just checked.

Page 48 of the Spektrum handbook, is timer setup instructions, if this is what you mean?

Not trying to be clever, but need help misen!

Ive found by inhibiting the gyro function on the Tx and running the gyro through Travel adjust at 60% and 90% on rudder it locks in great. Also changing the stunt mode to a 100% straight line helps aswell. I strongly advise any one to do this as it makes the heli so much nicer to fly without buying a new tail servo and gyro.
Really sorry to dig up an old thread, but Adie, how do you mean with the Gyro? Am I right you say inh on the Gyro function, but run 60% and 90% travel adjust on rudder? So do you mix the gyro to rudder then? I'm soon going to get me one of these little ladies, and really need it as solid in hover as it can be.

Its all about reaching a good "for all" middle ground, for me I centered all the gain and rudder trims, took off the rudder servo horn, started her up then replced the servo horn at 90 degrees, then I moved the whold servo back intil I reached a good middle ground with the tail rudder's left & right movments

Then using the Limit pot on the Gyro I moved the rudder left and right and fine adjusted the pot so the servo didn't bite to hard one side or the other.

The Tx was set in HH, it hard for me to explain right now, but its a balancing game, which is completely different to a Contras gain control, but in a way it comes to the same result, only it's a bit more complicated on the CCP heli's

Yes all you need to do is inh gyro function. Then the gyro can be altered through the travel adjust set the gear to 55 or 60% and rudder at 90%. You dont need to touch the gyro itself or put a mix in the radio.

Thanks Adie, much appreciated, I'm trying to check out what batteries etc. I need. It's all confusing with all the diff. connectors for this and that.

I'd like a Flightpower, now I know the connector for the heli is easy to get, but what about the balance connector for the Blade's own charger?
