  • Blade 450 3d skid upgrade.

Got my Blade 450 3d so I can get out and fly while I'm still trying to set up my T-Rex 450 sport.

I like the Blade 450, great little Heli that flys straight out box.The only thing I don't like are the standard skids, they look a little cheap and nasty IMO so I swapped mine out for a set of these.

I think they look far better and they are a straight swap, no drilling no fuss, just the way I like it.

    Happy days

Keep going and you'll have two Trex 450s eventually. Yep, much better than stock skids.
    Trex 450 SEV2.
Trex 450 SEV2, hack, freeby, but getting expensive. Binned the bu**er !
    Trex 550 V2. Adrenalin ( brown kind )
mCPX, better than a Phoenix anyday.
    Several planks, gathering dust.

Brains and thumbs work okay, but not at the same time.

I can see they are Align skids but which ones are they! Are they the H50047 Undercarriage Set by any chance?

I've just taken delivery of a set of HS1294T-01 skids and the holes are out by quite a bit. Also they don't sit flush so a little bit of trim needs removing. A job for another day.

Something doesn't seen right here, the ones I received are a direct fit and the mounting pad are flush.

                Here is a close up.

Yes not the same as mine at all. I have confirmed with the supplier and mine are part number HS1294T-01 and are genuine Align. Very strange indeed.

                    Strange.

You are more then welcome to have the skids pictured if they are any good to you.

I've had a look on a few sites and the HS1394T's are all the same as mine:

Landing Skid Set - White (HS1294T-01) - Model Shop Section.
                      align HS1294T-01
                      Skyline*Models :: Helicopter*Parts :: Align :: 450*Parts :: 450...

                      Weirded!

The ones in your post #4 are the same as mine with the ridges that need filing down (bottom picture).
