How do i setup the fail-safe on my Blade 400 3D.
I was playing with the heli and shut down the DX6 and the 400 went to full throttle, I did not have the blades on good job but it was still frightening.

    I have a DX6 & DX7 do i need to setup the TX or the blade 400 transmitter ???????.

    Thanks

Re-bind with the throttle stick at its lowest position.

As above, and test again before flying either without main + tail blades on or back off the motor.

Be careful with the throttle trim position and the throttle hold value. You can get a slow rotation in failsafe if you get them wrong.

I Think I have a similar problem with my 450 Throttle hold at 0, Throttle lowest posision, Throttle hold on, As soon as I flick the throttle hold off it spools up to a slow tick over. Is this normal scared the hell out of me the first time it happened!

bind with the throttle trim centered then lower it to full down, set your throttle hold to a neg value something like -0.5

It can be a problem having different hold settings as the esc uses the initial value it gets as the minimum value. So if you have one setting that's less than the other you must always use the higher value for switch on. I think I use the same values myself.
