    Hi all i have just fully blinged out my blade 400 with every ally and carbon part that eflite do for it but up on fitting it and preflite checks have found that the pitch on the main blades is all out!why is this as i havent adjusted any of the links or settings in the radio!are the ally parts different in anyother way than the plastic!Please help as i cant seem to stop scratching my head on this one

    I've done this too. There are a lot of ways to screw it up. You might have fitted one of the parts wrongly, its very easy to do. You can put the blade grips on upside down for instance. If you take some photos of the head and the servo positions, someone will spot it. The arm to the right of the front servo can be put back on the wrong spline as well. Don't ask how I know these things.

      I reckon that when building a heli with new parts you need to go through the full setup process as you go. I dont think it is wise to just substitute parts (this amount of them at least) and expect it all to work as before. By starting the rebuild as if for the first time you will go through ensuring that the right links are connected the right places and at the right length etc. Sub-trims will then get set and so on and so forth. This is probably the only way to guarantee getting the heli back to a perfect setup. I have just replaced all my servos and I went through the full set up process and the heli was spot on for its first flight.
