  • EFLH1144 Head Dampening Shims

Does anyone know of any place on the interwebs that has these in stock? I've tried some of the obvious places but can't find any. Fecking feathering shaft sheared completely in half and spilt these into long grass

I had 4 on each side and thankfully one side stayed on the shaft. Could I get away with 2 shims on each side until replacements come back in stock?

early blades had 2 on each side later ones have 4
if you only have enough shims for 2 on each side try making some damper rings out of fuel tubing just cut them slightly thicker

What is the point of the shims anyway? They are super thin and even 4 of them doesn't take up much space.

they take up just enough room to take the excess play out of your head, i think they measure at 0.005mm or something stupid like that, take them out and you will notice a difference
