  • Did my first loops, flips, inverted today :)

Stopped off on the way home from work, and ran 2 x revo 2100's through my blade. My m8 videod it for me.

1st video is my 13th battery of flying, just darting about.

2nd video is my 14th battery of flying, these are my very first attempts at inverted hover, forward loop and backflips.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MtpU9Do41c[/ame]

My original eflite battery had given up so quickly? It wont work anymore charger says its charged but helicopter says its not.

I realize it was a smidge too close to the camera man at one point I'll make sure he's behind me next time

yes it was a near perfect conditions! I told my m8 on the way to work this morning I would try it later if it was nice weather and it was so I tried a few things

I think I got him hooked he's had a few goes on phoenix, and I think he is going for a belt cp trouble is cant find it in stock anywhere now the belt cp v2 is out.

                Nice one Ben!

I'm at about this level (after LOADS more practice!) so well done. The first inverted bit is scary isn't it, but its a nice feeling when you start flying the thing rather than just avoid crashing it!

                All the best

Cheers for the comments guys, my heart was pounding when I was trying the new stuff, loving it now. I had an unfortunate start but now Im bringing it home in one piece which is great! I think I need to check my trim and tail setup but other than that she is flying great

Just to clarify I learnt to hover (only tail on) on my fixed pitch micro heli walkera 4#3b then i got phoenix and the blade 400 and phoenix taught me how to fly a cp heli. I have done half a dozen hovering batteries in my garden and done 14 batteries at the field 2 of which I crashed.

Phoenix simulator is a must have, its saved me a fortune. If you havent got it already I suggest you get it.
