  • Canopies for Blade

I have read that you can fit a Trex 450 canopy on the blade, Is this an easy thing to do? or can you buy an unpainted canopy - I have seen the plain white on my blade box but cannot find them anywhere.. A friend of mine is very artistic & has offered to airbrush a canopy or 2 for me (this guys artistic talent is amazing & I will post pic's) and I do not wish to miss this offer from him as I have seen what he has done on other things!

    cheers for any advice given,

    Kind regards

Revolution Models sell the white one.

Trex 450 will be my next upgrade. If you get the Trex 500 canopy mouting kit, you can screw them into the Blade and there will not be any drilling of extra holes in the new canopy

There is a few painted canopies starting to crop up including blank fibreglass ones, have a look at fast-lads, they have some on display in the shop.

for the price i think that canopy is very dissapointing there are far better 450 designs that can be made to fit easily

                          it can wait probably

edit: might sound a weird question but do you know if Miniature Aircraft Furion 450 canopys will fit the blade 400?

Have a look on this thread http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/f105/blade-400-body-17017/page2.html

The first pic is a where to put the mounts for a Trex canopy, my pictures are where I have mounted it for my Blade canopy.

Make sure you scroll all the way down the page

so if your changing to a trex canopy you need to put the mounts where the screws for the anti-rotation is
