  • How to bind my Blade 400

    Hi,

I am new on this forum and I am in France. ( Nobody is perfect ! )
I bought a Blade 400 mode 2 and I received a mode 1 so, they changed the DX6I mode 1 for a mode 2. Now, I have to bind it.
I had a look in the Spectrum booklet but they are speaking of a main and remote receivers; On the Blade I only found one receiver.
My question is : Where do I have to put the bind plug on the receiver. On the receiver there are 6 plugs, I think I have to remove one to put the bind plug but which one ?
Does anyone could help me ( even with a picture ).
On the receiver I didn't see any led, how do you know if the binding is correct ?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Jean-Pierre.

There should be an empty slot for your bind plug and it's marked 'batt' for battery, The Bind plug goes in there - if you can't see it too well you may have to undo the receiver and slightly pull it away from the chassis so that you have better access. Once you've put the plug in power up the heli and the giro and receiver LED's should be flashing indicating that Binding Mode has been enetered. Now on your DX6i hold pull up the 'Trainer' toggle whilst turning the transmitter on at the same time and this will then put the Tx in Bind mode. The receiver LED should then turn solid indicating that the binding has happended!

    Hope this helps.

Use the binding plug that came with the radio and insert it into the receiver in the only open slot. (batt) then turn on the heli first and then the transmitter while holding the
trainer switch and just sit tight for about 30 seconds or so. That should do it.

then remove the bind plug from the receiver and you should be all set.
