Its not right what they are trying to do, and we shouldnt support it, or any others that do that, eg SC motors, being rip offs of OS motors minus the quality and reliability.

If they are confident in their product then they should sell it entirely as their own product, with its own design and own name, and not try to use another companies product to get theirs sold.

Now I dont really care much for companies that rip the public off.... the music industry for instance, but I feel I have to say, dont be a knock-off nigel here.
Cor Blimey mate that's told me, I was only wanting views on 401B as its not worth me going to any real cost as its only for my sons B400 as for my heli's I have 2 Futaba 401's so it's not all down to quality.
We all love this hobby but unfortunately we cant all afford the expensive quality parts and there will aways be a market for cheeper parts.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

we all know how good the Futaba 401 is so if the 401b is as good what one would we buy.
we all buy on cost not quality so if we can afford it that's the one we buy.

That was more aimed at the dodgy chinese del boy companies that are becoming more and more common nowadays in this hobby.

The Knock-off nigel bit was a joke, but at the same time I think its a false economy to be buying things like this, and its rewarding people/companies ripping off others.

There is a lot to the saying "buy cheap, buy twice".

Just picked up my 401b from the post office today and installed. With 5 minutes of playing in my back garden (more like a small patio!) it holds well but there is still a slight bit of slow turn which I can take out with the trim on the controller, is it worth mechanically doing this? (if so is there a difference?).

Once I've been to the park I'll feedback to all with an update.

                      Happy new year all!

Should never trim the rudder via the TX Billy.

Set it up mechanically in rate mode it should fly nice then.

You should always take any trim out mechanically first, then leave the final small trimming to the Tx.
