Definitely ready for the 300x! I'm sure it'll be a top little machine! Don't forget to report back once you've got it and flown it a bit and let us know your thoughts!

Thanks A.N.T.I know this might sound stupid but where can I get spare gear sets for the cyclics ( i persume the cyclics are the servos , I am bit thick when it comes to all this tech stuff )

ANT is on about the plastic gears in the DS76 servos. In a crash, they're so small, they do tend to strip. They're cheap as chips, but availability can be a challenge at times ...

Yeah the ds76 servo gears can be got from most of the big heli stores, I got mine from wheelspin models, at the time they were the only shop with them in stock the cyclic servo sets are £1.89 and the tail sets are £2.84 but unless your ordering other stuff the postage is a little high for a quick delivery. RC Choppers is cheap delivery and also normally next day delivery.

If you have problems with the tail servo I found the Align 425m servo (£16) is a great upgrade and has metal gears so much more robust.

£199 is a great price for the 300x I paid £250 from my local shop but that came with an extra battery last August. I had seen the price had been dropped to £219 a while ago but £199 is superb when you consider the AR7200bx is £160 on its own.

                Enjoy......

Indeed. That's a heli for roughly £40! Bargain doesn't quite cover it!

300X arrived today ,charge the batteries up but it will not stop raining so the maiden flight will have to wait untill the weather get better .First impression is good looks nice a solid and let's hope it is more reliable then the 130X, if it flys as good as the 130X i will be happy just do not want all the hassle the 130X had. I let you know how the maiden goes when this rain stops

Just flown the maiden flight of the 300X, well i found it easyer to fly then the 130x it is far more stable i was just going to hover it about and get use to it but i found it so easy to fly i went staight into fig 8 and fast circles it is so stable. Anyone like me who is thinking of progressing from the mcpx bl and 130X the 300X is the perfect helly to progess to.I have not flown the 450X but if that is like the 300X do not be to scared to go for the 300X or 450X as your next helly the reason i went for the 300X over the 450X was the place i fly (a little field ) but i am now wondering if i could of flown the 450X in the field. The 300X is more suited to my needs and can some it up in one word BRILLIANT . If you are a little concerned about progessing to something bigger then the mcpx or 130X as long as you can fly the mcpx or 130x you can fly the 300X

                          PS. Give it a month - two tops ... and you'll be looking for a 500 or 550 ...

Just bear in mind that it will not be as survivable as a smaller heli. It will be more survivable than a 450 though. You only have bad crashes on the last flight....so that's the only one you need to be careful on.
