  • 300x are we still liking them?

Im looking into getting one, I need a park flyer and this fits the bill really. The 500 is great but you need a fair space for it so I have to walk to the local field to fly it, this I can fly at the top of the local park.

What do people think of theres?

Twitchy, they don't like much wind. Crash cost same as a 450X. I got rid of mine. I figure it's a good size for a sports hall of fair dimensions, though.

I like mine as its the largest fbl helicopter I have.
feels much more stable than my flybarred ones.

I have two and love them, both have metal gear servos & carbon fiber main blades (the only upgrades) and they fly GREAT. Enjoy every moment and spares are cheap compared to trex's. In a crash the maximum is - blade grips or with main shaft and main gear. I would suggest them to anyone. My 130x has been sitting onthe shelf as I keep flying my 300x's.

I am using savox SH0257 on one & align DS410 (with upgraded metal gears) on the other. I use the carbon fiber main blades from H'Hobby. No more stripping gears in servos. In any crash now its the main grip £5- or main gear, or feathering shaft or main shaft. Widh i had more time to fly them.

Hi I have owned a 300x for nearly a year and its been a learning curve I tell you! Carbon blades, savox servos and glass fibre canopy is the way forward with these awesome machines

I bought one about a month ago and I quite like it. It flies very similarly to the 450x, which I rate highly for throwing around and occasionally crashing.

The only things I didn't like was that the head speed sounded high, even though it wasn't, and that it wasn't quite small enough for indoor. Perhaps the gears need to bed in or the stock woodies make more noise than necessary, but it does sound a bit screamy flying around. In terms of size, I think if you were competing indoors and you had the flight line to yourself, it's perfect, but if you had to share with 5 others and had a collision, it would decimate an mCPX. Definitely a very capable outdoor helicopter.

I am actually selling mine due to it being too similar to my 450. It's in the box, exactly as you get from a shop (bar the 10 flights), with an extra battery and 240v adapter. PM me if you're interested. (sold)
