    Well the day has come, first crash of the 300x, it went up and it also came down Poxy training gear hub broke after a little bounce and flipped up into the blades, hit th just before impact.

    Damage report = a few stripped teeth on main gear and swash plate pulled out of anti rotation slot, so not too bad at all...


    Now the intial fear of crashing is out of the way I can just get on with it now

    Happens to the best of us at least the damage report wasnt so bad

      You got off lightly. Bummer when it's not really your fault and it's down to some other part breaking and causing grief (trainer gear). Should be back in the air easy enough

        Have ended up replacing the gear set in all 3 cyclic servo's as the were really notchy afterwards, also the main blades as there was a split in one of them, should be back in the air this weekend if the sun comes out and the wind dies down, bought some nice yellow tail blades for it as well and making a new carbon fiber canopy as the original one cracked first time I put it on...
