That there are very few posts regarding the 300x, i have one and am learning manouvres/orientation on an MCPX V2 and then trying in on the 300x, i have a DX6i with tamed down settings for both until it all starts to gel.
I love the 300x, awesome to hover when you are a noob like me, but what a buzz!.....the sky is your friend.....

Can't see the point on the 300x size. May as well fly a 130x or 450 and bigger.
    But that's just me

Sorry if my above post reads a bit harsh

Glad you enjoy the 300x. But what I was getting at, the crash costs are very similar to a 450 size I believe.
I looked the 300x for a bit of fun but I settled for an 450x. Yes bit more penny's but is awesome.

Crash costs are darn near identical

Always the feathering shaft and always the main shaft as a minimum. Blades often survive. Main shaft always bends at the same point and is quite a good bend making the shaft a sod to remove, generally have to push it down and out of the bottom. The only thing I can say is that psychologically, it's easy to try out flips and inverteds. if I could get past that and do it straight on a 450...
