300X Worth getting????

Has anyone bought one/Flown one?? Thoughts on it??
My LHS has got them in stock at such a bargain price it would be almost rude not to buy one and i've got some spare cash burning a hole in my pocket.
Im liking the idea of this size heli as a learning tool to further my 3D moves, That is if the HH video's are true to how it actually flies.

Blade 300x is miles better than a trex 250 flybarred, very stable. Was struggling with the trex 250 always ended with a crash, didnt tolerate any wind but the blade 300x has been fantastic for the last 6 lipos. I havent flown a 450x thus cant compare it with. Waiting for good weather to try some 3d. Love it so far with the suggested settings. I havent flown the trex 250 flybarless but on the flybar was using the align gyro.

450x is great and the 300x is just slightly behind in wind stakes. It flies a treat and that was my maiden. Only one battery as post delivered other three to home.

Will tell more after I've had a proper go tomorrow. Oh, easy on throttle up, it's lively and the heli can spin on its skids. There's also a vibration present as the motor spools up (low revs) but disappears very quickly. Stable as a horse with 8 legs and just as fast.

If you are looking for more packs then avoid the Gens Ace 1300mah packs from GiantShark though, the ones they have right now are fitted with 20AWG wire which just isn't up to the task.

Pity really as the packs are fine, just no good with that wire on them.

Something to check if you are buying Gens Ace 1300 from anywhere else as I doubt GiantShark are the only ones with those packs.

Yeah for the extra I would get the whole thing. You'd send way more than the £162 difference getting servo's, esc, motor and FBL unit. Hell, the Beastx alone is around £160 new.

I paid £239 from Kings Lynn models. Got three 1300mAh batteries from Overlander. Good thick wire on them. Use Overlander on my Quads and 450X and they've been great.

I crashed my Blade 450X so badly I thought Id give the 300x a try. I can use the same servos and Beast X. Bought the second one for spares.
Beast X for £160?? You need to shop around abit.. Us girls are good at bargain hunting..!!
