No lift off

  • No lift off

    Smashed 300x , put back together and now it not lift off floor , changed blade holders , main shaft , feathering shaft , link rod x1 , front servo
    when i spool it up swash plate goes downwards , is this right ? Sits on floor up to full power and dosnt lift at all

    sounds like has no positive pitch.

      The Blade 300X is unusual in that the pitch arms are trailing (on the back side of the blades). This means that the swash goes down for positive collective. My bet is that you have the blade grips reversed so that the pitch arms are leading, which would be correct for 90% of helis but not for the Blade 300X.

        Agree with Grumpy.. Many of the Blade BNF helis are trailing edge ..

          It was ok before i crashed it , so will reverse them and see what it does , many thanks for help everyone

            Don't just blindly reverse them! :-O

            In HOLD mode, increase collective pitch. Does the swash go down or up? Do the blades create positive pitch? Simple to check with no risk of crashing!

              I swoped blade grips round after inspecting rotor head and seeing nut hole was at the top ( wot a wally ) , test flown this morning and is all good
              so many thanks for help with this
