  • Blades - bullet or no bullet?

I've got my 130 being delivered today but fancy some different colour blades. I'm struggling to work out the pros and cons to having bullets and not. I prefer the look of them without but are the bulllets more stable?

The bullets increase the mass of the rotor disc and thus make the Heli more stable - especially, but not only in fast forward flight.
So if you intend to fly high speed, with some large and round loops and turns or prefer to do some "smooth cruising" or relaxed sports flying then the bullet-blades are the right ones.
If however you are more into brutal 3D and mainly fly tic-tocs and piroflips under the kitchen table, then you should go for the non-bullet ones.

Re: Blades - bullet or no bullet?

If you're doing forwards flight only, there bullets are more stable and tame it down a bit.
Once you start banging it about you'll notice it's much more responsive with the normal blades on.

      Cheers

+1 bulleted blades for me ever since I bought it. It came with them on and I replaced them with green bullets and got some orange bullets waiting :-) been really happy with them...

I got orange ones on this and my nano, both bulletted, and makes a great difference to seeing the rotor disk too
