Blade 130x power loss

Hi,
Flown my blade about half a dozen times basic hovers, then it lost all power and dropped like stone.
Broken under carriage only. thought maybe lipo pooped...
Changed parts, swapped lipo... after 2 mins flight happened again.. noticed motor very hot
changed parts, swapped lipo... held in hand and test run.
It runs for about 2 mins and just cuts, servos seem ok but dont return to centre, motor hot.
return throttle to zero then check servos all ok, test again notice motor judders a little on start...then same happens
fault with board or motor? ideas ?

that sounds like a stripped main gear.when a few teeth are stripped it flies fine until the pinion is aligned with the stripped teeth and it just dies.

A dead battery could be the other cause, or least likely a short.

could be a dodgy motor wire if the motor is jittering and heating up.

the motor does get hot on this heli . it sounds like the esc part of the main board going in to fail safe to me. ring horizon hobbies they are a great bunch and will sort this for you

Update, Swapped esc and motors with my spare blade, and seems motor at fault. but maybe esc causing motor to fail. spoke to HH and very helpful so will return both parts.. good job for spare blade but too cold to fly!
