latest 130x's

Hey Guys, is it my imagination or is there some subtle differences in the latest batches of 130x's that have arrived just recently, on opening the box of my friends 130x, there are what appears to be small differences, firstly there appears to be some green stamps in the foam box that my first release doesnt have, looks like a QA confirmation ? different tapes that hold the model in, "A" gear has really good clearance, the spool up vibe is non existant, the whole heli is certainly less vibes than early ones?

or is this just a one off !

as i done the first flight for a friend, and this one appears virtually spot on right out of the box, woooo hooooo

Just got mine from Raj, first thing I looked at was the gear clearance, and mine is fine. Only spooled up front room and no vibes.

I got 2 when they first come out and one was bad,the other perfect out the box.

Luck.

They probably actually test fly them now demands are lower.

the difference form mine out of the box, old one, to my friends new one is chalk and cheese, could this be a V2 ? most parts look similar, they just fit right, his has at least 1mm clearance on A gear straight out of box, and flew perfectly, it sat on the ground a fair time, while i spooled it up gradually to see if the dreaded vibe was there, and there was totally nothing ! just spooled up smooth as you like

my older one is ok now, after faffing around with it, but that is the first one i have seen straight out of the box perfect

Big tail drive gear on the mainshaft,its close to a fet on the elev servo,mine a mil away on my first batch 130 so nothing new there.

what do you look at to see if there is any differences, my m8 had that gear rub through the little board on the heli. it kept climbing until he hit throttle hold then it came back down and smelt terrible.

mine flew fine straight out the box. it has a little vibration while you spool at low low revs nothing serious though. i have changed to the microheli tail pitch slider

I saw this and it does seem perfect

I reckon the QC boys and girls had a shafting after the early problems

I was happy with mine out of the box bar the tail slider, but its been tinkered with and is imo excellent now, love it

i bought mine yesterday ,It was from the latest batch to arrive from horizon

the polystyrene has a green "u" stamp, the tape is opaque white? I dont know if thats any different from the earlier ones.

it flies perfectly. (It does try to tip over to the right if I spool up slowly,but a waggle of the cyclic stops this and it will sit at just above midstick square on the floor happily) I have the settings set exactly as per the manual. No vibes at all and the tail is solid. I'm well pleased with it,a great little heli.

hey boggy, the tip to the right is an easy fix with subtrim, disconnect the main motor plug, power it up, and lift the throttle stick to mid stick position, now watch the swash, if it tries to wander in any direction just dial in opposite subtrim, you may have to fiddle with it a bit, by recentering the swash and try again, but within a few mins it should be able to sit there with the swash staying level, when done just power down re connect the motor, then reconnect the power and go fly, it should be able to take off nicely then with no tipping, and sit in the hover much better too !
