130x tail fix

Hi,
I have a 130x on order and expect it this week.
I have read a lot about balancing blades and using a rubber o ring to take up some slack on the tail but wondered if anyone could refer to a supplier of parts for the o rings and a diagram or videoon how to balance the blades and fit the o ring.
Sorry if this detail is already on the forum but I did search and could find anything and it a bit of a dummies guide im after

Flight test it before making any changes, some 130s fly great out of the box others need lots of tweaks.

I use oringsandmore.com they even have an outlet on ebay.co.uk here: Silicone Rubber Orings Size 127 Price for 10 pcs items in Oringsandmore store on eBay!
Look under Silicon Orings sizes 001 and 003 required for the 130X and they go on the ball links. (100 per pack @ £2-£3)
I've never needed to balance any blades as i don't believe it needs it and vibes are normally caused by other issues.

Fastlads have an O.Ring set in stock as well & its only £1.50 there is also diagrams that show you where they go so pretty helpfull . Rob

The only blades you may need to balance are the tail rotor blades - but only if the start up vibes are too bad! If not - don't worry about it and enjoy flying it!

The main blades won't need balancing.

I note you said"may" need to balance,,I fitted rakon tail and fiddled with a few other bits and almost got rid of the spool up vibes,then I put Blades green mains on and my last bit of vibe was gone.
I already had the green ones on the tail,so I know it was the mains that fixed it.I wasnt "vibe hunting" either,just fancied a change so I was well chuffed to stumble on it.

new member, first post....this was going to be my question,has anyone bought this dam thing that hasnt got the tail wag. ive been researching for my first CP heli and the 130x fits nicely in my budget and size i was thinking of the mcpx but that was deemed boring after a while acording to some,anyway i know with furoms you tend to get the probs more than the praise,but i found myself looking at helifreaks site and its like all customers of the 130x are fixing instead of flying,dont get me wrong i know tweaks are required to maintain a nice flyer...but im getting well put off buying this,
i dont normally moan this much by the way

Most 130x's don't have tail wag. The main gripe with the 130x has been tail vibes on spool up that dissappear once the main rotors are up to speed. The amount of vibration varies. Some have none, most have some which isn't a problem, and some have excessive vibes that are an issue.

If you have tail wag - that's a relatively easy tuning fix (ie. turn down the tail gyro gain)
If you have spool-up vibes - if they're fairly minor and go away once the heli is in the air, then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

For all it's issues, the 130X is a top heli IMO. The funny thing is, most people don't think twice about tuning/tweaking the big helis - it's accepted as being required for something that's spinning blades at over 2000RPM! For the 130X however, because it's sold as pretty much "fly out of the box" - we perhaps seem less prepared to nurture it a bit! A bit of tuning is in my view, not really a problem ...

Does anyone know what size these o-rings are as everywhere seems to be out of stock of theses kits at present? And cant find themon fast lads
