130xperts for tail.!!!

My 130's tail holds on gain but waves side to side as if wind catches it, upped gains changed gears but still same, any ideas.???

Mine used to do it till i fitted the MH pitch slider if that helps?

Have you checked the tail blade grip bearings? Classic cause of tail problems on big or small models if they are damaged in any way and bind when under load.

Definetly as above the metal tail pitch slider is a good upgrade for a stock tail rotor, I have the Rakon one available from Midlands.

I have to say mine didn't really go away until I fitted a shiny Pitch Slider like Bladestriker, only mine is from RKH, similar performance increase for tail wag issues. Normally caused by a bit too much slop in tail, either pitch slider, grips or the bearings.

Ive just replaced the blade grip assy to alloy so may as well go for tail slider, you got yours from Midland Heli's.?

Also, If you havn't already tried, Loosen the Tail blades so they're pretty loose.

+1 here from RC Hero, helped mine, shiney Rakon one,

+1 on check tail blades not too tight or grips binding

also worth checking the TT is set right, loosen the two boom screws on the main frame, slide the boom in towards the heli until things start binding then start pulling it out until its free then tighten the two frame screws that hold the boom.

Done them checks as well so looks as if its all down to the tail slider.

How did you change the gain? In your TX, or using the AS3X menu ?
