slow ckwise rotation

hi my 130 has a slow clockwise rotation. just wondered if anyone had this or knows a cure any info would be very gratefully recieved.

Could you of notched your throttle trim up a bit

Just trim it out.

Normally a no-no on tails or FBL systems, but on the AS3X it works fine as it doesn't re-zero at each start up. The drift is like caused by a mismatch between what the FBL thinks zero is and what your transmitter thinks zero is, so the trimming is effectively just adjusting the zero's to match.

I had the same issue from new and nothing I tried fixed it other than just a spot of subtrim.

Also works if you have some left-right/fore-aft drift. Like I say this is a no-no on other FBL systems, so don't try and apply it to those, but here it's fine.

It has done it from the start. I have put some sub trim in 8 right on a dx6i and it still does it a little. But if I do more it starts turning anticlockwise very strange I will just learn to live with it I suppose

You could try asking the shop or the manufacturer. Cheap gyros can vary a lot. Some are better than others. Batteries can make a difference as well. The gyro can be more or less sensitive to volts and some batteries hold their volts better than others.

Is it worth checking the gyro settings in the tx?

Well not sure if it has any thing to do with the rotation but today the tale started letting go during flight.

I was hovering and doing some small slow circuits when the tail done a 180 held for about a second and then 're-set back to were it was heading wise it now keeps doing it every so often which is really strange could I need to adjust the heading gain or something I will probably ring HH on Monday for there ideas

That's not the heading gain. Something isn't right and it's getting worse. Could be anything that operates the tail. Gyro, servo mechanical connections. It could be in the tx as well especially if it's E-Flite. Anything new is more likely to fail when it's new. It's called infant mortality. You might be able to reproduce the fault without flying by just moving the tail and watching what happens. It will happen again don't be tempted to fly unless horizon will replace the whole heli. It could be a connection as well.

it seems that the push rod was a little short. i adjusted it to try and stop the drift but it made the tail swing when throttled up more. drift is back but tail is staying put now for two batteries at least.
