right battery?

Hi all,

Just orderes 5 of these Gens Ace 450 2S1P 25C Lipo Battery
are they the right ones because i remember seeing pics on the forum and the lipo had a black and grey checkered covering and they seem cheap

£2.35 is so cheap!!! Can anyone actually recommend Giant Shark as they have lots of offers that seem too good to be true? Sorry no idea if it's the right connector, but who cares at that price, just let me know if it actually turns up.

Hi I purchased 10 last week and they turned up next day. Please keep in mind the connections are not the same as stock as i found out. So i have purchased this

Gens Ace IMARS Charger

and these

JST Mini – JST PH (Blade 130x Adapter) « ElectriFlyer

Or i might even change all the connections to Mini Deans

My experience of Giant Shark has been top notch. Good prices including p&p with quick delivery. They also check the voltage levels in the battery cells. Warranty is limited though so have a look at their terms before you charge.

Funny you should mention RC-Choppers, their customer service sucks from my experience.

so they are the same as the black/grey checked ones? not bothered about the connector,i'll either change the connector on the esc or buy an adaptor

Yes they are. They have a carbon fibre look. Mine are not as pretty now that they are stripped back butt nekkid.

Got them today,They are the carbon look ones,For some reason the pic on the giant shark website shows them as blue.They are longer than the stock eflite ones but the other dimensions look similar.I havent tested them yet but they feel heavier definitely.I may shorten the leads and i am sure i read somewhere about them having a plate to remove or something? just to make them lighter.
