Broken tail slider on second flight:(

As in title, literally second flight, gentle circuits in idle up, notice a tail shake, landed it, found the tail pitch slider piece, part no 29, had lost the bottom nub! Sloppy tail resulted... No contact with ground whatsoever. This a common problem?

Not that I know of but I do know someone here lost that little bit of plastic and replaced it with a bit of copper wire. Looked like a good fix as well. I'm assuming he drilled a little hole for it.

Yeah was thinking of repairing it, just wondered if anyone had a good fix that's proven that I could copy

You just need to look at those pitch sliders the wrong way and the pin breaks off! Got me a RKH one and had no problems since, also much more stable

same here, i split the tail slider before. bought rakonheli instead. altho i did manage to glue my original slider and used it for a tad. no hard or fast flying tho. just gently flying in case it split. didn't want it to cause a crash

lol i fly mine hard and crashed quite a few times with no probs! I'm just lucky!

Get a Rakon one! Wont spontaneously combust when you look at it then! We have some....
