130X maiden flight! (mine anyway)

WOw Fantastic all the superlatives you can think off what a corker!!!

Bought one last week first attempted flight it was not right, took it back to KLMS who confirmed there was a problem BIG BIG thank you to Dan!

Home charged the pack and oh God! fantastic.

Put two packs through just trying to keep a steady hover but could not resist trying to fly round the garden!!!! This is a brilliant little heli.

Only downside is the packs just do not last long enough (set for 4mins) note to self MUSt buy more packs!!

Fantastic little blighters aren't they. Mine is called Limpy but is also known as O.M.G! It's what I hollared after my first flip to inverted and roll out to upright.

I can't even flip an mcpx, well I can straight into the flipping ground :-(

130X flips deliciously. A lot, LOT easier than an mcpx. Flips are small, rolls are small. None of this staring at a faceful of mcpx while it's contemplating flipping but then hits the deck instead.

I deny all knowlede that this post is not designed to be helpful to people with sweating wallets/purses. Deffo helps peeps with 'em, though

Vikki how would you say it handles in the wind compared to the mcpx ? To be honest I can fly my mcpx in higher winds than I can my 450 innovator

It handles pretty good in the wind. I wouldn't go much above 15mph as it becomes a right fight then. But upto 15-16-ish you can do big and bold, inverted. Hover is ok but you are working. Don't bother landing, get level 2-3 feet off the ground and kill the throttle (if you do throttle hold make sure you're in a switch setting that doesn't give much negative pitch). As the blades wind down the heli drops gracefully to an upright landing in grass. Much more fun at lower wind speeds but it does like big and bold if you fancy a thrash.

Will say a bit of experience helps heaps.

Your Throttle Hold pitch curve (ok straight line!) should be the same as your IU settings to avoid this and you should also set your Normal curve so that when hovering you can switch into IU and not jump up in the air or slam it down into the ground....

My IU pitch curve is set the same above 50, but below that in normal it is 30-40-50-75-100 and in IU is 0-25-50-75-100, I don't think you need as much negative pitch in normal mode, it's only used for general flying around and landing anyway

D'oh, forgot again, was thinking pitch went neg on th. Brain fart. I meant keep throttle up during TH. As the blades slow heli will drop gently to the ground.
