130x MicroHeli tail grips dont fit stock tail shaft

I bent my tail shaft which i got with the MH tail grips. I just noticed the stock shaft is slight different at the T end, means the MH grips bearings wont fix to the shaft completly.

Any one else noticed this or got MH tail grips to fit stock tail shaft?

I was thinking of replacing the MH tail grip bearing with the stocks ones but not sure if they will fit without damaging anything..

No, they don't fit - if you look on the site you'll see the grips sold separately say "for xxxxx" which is the tail shaft part number.

The double bearing means they had to redesign the shaft slightly to make it all work

Thanks for letting me know. Not really impressed though, means i have to wait for MH shippment to hit uk for a tail shaft that costs 3 times more then stock.

Thanks for the feedback guys. My MH tail grips are going on ebay, rakon replacements ordered.

I went with MH original as i thought they looked better and i had no problems with them on my mcpx. If i knew they didnt fit on the stock shaft i would have gone with Rakon in the first place.


Has anybody read the discription for mh130x042bg? I feel mislead by MH, lesson learn though 'always check compatiblity & the little details'!

As long as the MH tail hub isnt stupidly expensive when it comes into stock i guess this is acceptable. Otherwise it smells entirely of a MH scam!

They are $6-7 in US, so you can bet they will be £10 when they do arrive in the UK!
