  • Microheli pitch slider arrived!

I'm not going to lie, it took me an unreasonably long time to fit this messing around with the tiny pins.... please do this on a clean table so if you drop a pin you aren't looking for it on the floor lol.

However, all fitted now and it looks great - no play in the bearings at all now, fit on the shaft I would say is slightly looser than ideal but still better than stock. I may try a new shaft too. Tiny bit of play where the pitch slider connects to the arm, again no more than stock.

Unfortunately I can't test fly it now because I'm waiting for my replacement "A" gear

Anyone else got theirs yet? impressions?

Good excuse to try out the macro mode on my new little camera!

I'm loathe to buy microheli parts after past experiences but it seems they are the only ones making bits for the 130 at the moment. I might pick one up when they are in stock in the shops

I have mine installed too and it was a pain with them tiny pins =\ after dropping on and looking 10 mins for it ahha

Anyway I took it out and with the stock one I had a really fast tail wag and even with the gain at its lowest it still did it. But with the mh one it cured it = p A well worth upgrade I think tbh even at 17 pound it's. Not too expensive

You have the option of RKH too if you hate mH lol... Xtreme as well but they are slow to release parts and I've been disappointed of late in the quality.

mH and RKH have been good in my experience on the mCP X so I'm willing to give them a go on my 130X... this part is certainly leaps and bounds higher quality than the stock part at any rate, you can tell that immediately.

Here's my solution to the little remaining slop - 003 size silicon o-rings on the swash and blade grips, and 001 sized on the tail blade grips and one between pitch slider and pitch slider arm, one between pitch driver arm and tail control rod. Heli feels much tighter now.... now where's me damn metal A Gear!?

Nice idea I used the stock canopy ones but ran out for the tail =[. Did you buy the silicone rigs from an online shop or local dealer ?

I got mine from midlands but try sold out within a couple of days. You could try mh direct as they seem to go back in stock quite quickly

online shop... it's in the US too but cheap postage and you get 50 per bag for a buck fifty so that'll probably out last your heli... I'm not sure you'd be able to get them much cheaper all told from the UK.

              silicone o rings

The only ones I've found a use for on the 130X are 001 and 003, but 002 are useful for the mCP X.

Just spooled it up anyway and although my tail won't for hold for anything more than a hover due to the stripped A-gear, I have Zero, yes ZERO tail resonance on spool up.... muahahahhahahahaaaaa

So, the KBDD blades reduced it on their own, but the mH silder and O-rings combined with the KBDDs have completely removed it. That's a big win my books! Have any of you guys with it noticed an effect on the resonance issue?

Just a note on my pic above - removed the o-ring between slider and arm, it was pushing the slider down onto the shaft and causing a little more friction. Might try cutting one in half later.

                      Still no vibes
