Tail servo chatter - that's normal right?

I'm getting pretty happy now with the spool up and flight vibrations after various mods.
However when I first connect the battery I get the tones of de-da-da, then doo-dle-do - yeah sing it its about right
then the tail servo just starts (and continues) to chatter away - now I admit my heli experience is limited to a honey bee FP and an mSRx but I don't recall them having chatty servos when its not even flying or rotating.
I'm presuming its normal ?

Can anyone say what theirs does if it is similar or not?

Mine does exactly the same too, and so does the tail servo on my Blade 450 3D. I wouldn't worry about it.

I remember first hearing servo chatter on my mcpx when I went up from the msrx, i thought there was something wrong but its totally normal

These little linear servos do like to have a good chat... it's quite normal.

If they start to actually physically jitter, then they most likely need cleaning - just pop the servo out, undo the screws on the back holding the servo mechanics on and then carefully move the mechanics out of the way (watch out for the delicate wipers). Take an alcohol swab and clean the resistance strip (you'll probably see black gunk) until it's shiny again.

Pop the servo mechanics back in place, put the screws in the back and then refit the servo, easy.

I found on the mCP X it really needed this after about 60-70 flights, but by all reports the servos on the 130X seem to hold out a bit better.

Mine does the same, apparently it's normal and nothing to worry about. I also have an mSRX but as its only a FP heli with no tail servos, it doesn't chatter cause it doesn't have any.
