  • Blade 130X Tail Vibration Fix

Heres before and after videos showing tail vibes on spool up fixed.

Before - Blade 130X Stock - Spool Up Vibration - YouTube

I then placed a piece of clear tape on one of the tail blades, no different. Took it off and tried it on the other tail blade and vibes are gone.

After - Blade 130X Vibration Fix - YouTube

Here are some tips we have. Roll on take-off.
Flybarless systems do not like it when the helicopter islight on the skids. As soon as the blades start spinning the pilot needs tostart flying it. When taking off the 130 X, increase the throttle, once theblades are spinning rapidly increase the throttle to pop it off the ground.Letting the helicopter spool up slowly can cause vibration which will cause anunwanted roll. It is also recommended to take the helicopter off of a smoothsurface such as concrete. The helicopter being so light can get stuck in the grassvery easily.Tail Resonance. Upon spool up, the helicopters willexperience a vibration in the tail assembly, but only during spool up. The tailis hitting a resonant frequency at a certain head speed; this is not a problem,it’s just something the 130 X does. The key is to quickly move through thishead speed range. To avoid this issue, advance the throttle from low throttleto about 75% throttle immediately. The goal is to pop the helicopter off theground as quickly as possible without letting it stay at the head speed thatcauses the resonant vibration. Once it moves past this head speed and is offthe ground and in the air, the vibration will disappear. Tail resonance canalso occur when holding the helicopter and spooling it up. Helicopters are notdesigned to be held static when the rotors are turning, and Horizon does notsupport or recommend doing this!

What allot of crock of..... you know!
What about tail blade flying off because of the vibration?

        Come on HH

I'm aware of this, the point is I've stopped the resonance on spool up??

The actual vibes come from tail grips, I believe. I have done the same to mine and it did stop the vibes. I can't think of ways to balance tail grips.
