Is yours nose heavy?

Mine is with the stock batteries, its as far back as poss without touching the motor.

yep mines noes heavy too and will be even more so when i start to use the gens ace but it seems to be flying nice enough as it is. I had to use abit of trim and adjusted the links to get to to hover nicely and not drift off tho

Mines flying with the Gens ace 450's, nose heavy but flies fine. or good enough for my skill set lol

Think i will counter balance mine, flips and barrel rolls to weird. Odd such a simple and vital thing has been overlooked by HH.

the best way to do this is to take sub trim out (it's best to have no sub trim in your heli) and if its a nitro
fill the tank half way hold the main blade and hold it in it's side if it is nose heavy put some lead on the tail.

haha that would be power didnt see the 130x lol but all helis are the same getting the cog right without subtrim works the same

For perfect cog use turnigy 300,infact,i have to move mine slightly forward for best performance ...only 3 min flight flat out though.

The gens do make it nose heavy making rolls inaccurate.

So it does matter. US guys where saying it was nose heavy. Some are extending the boom and having good results.

If the FBL was a perfect system then you wouldn't be able to tell (although it would mean more work for the system so still less than ideal) but we are talking far from a perfect system.

The heli has to detect the effect of an out if balance CG before it can compensate for it, and due to limitations of the system it will never compensate perfectly either.

You may notice some slight aileron input when you do big rainbows - that's due to the poorly designed swash producing an aileron effect when elevator is applied (it twists slightly due to the mis-aligned AR pin). In a perfect world the FBL system would compensate for that since you haven't asked for any aileron, but it doesn't. It masks it for sure (and better than the mCP X did with the same design flaw) but doesn't completely remove it.

For the record, my TP 325 mah 65C home made packs seem to balance perfectly.

yeah, the turnigy 300's are so tiny you can probably pair them up and still be lighter than stock battery!
