  • main motor... upgrade or new standard??

Hi all, been flying my 130x for a few months now and just lately its starting to feel a little tired. The heli has been crashed a few times but always repaired well, it also now has many/most of the available upgrades which i fear have added extra weight and as a result the motor has really felt the extra strain!
Is there a good direct replacement upgrade motor or has anyone found a new standard item has returned their 130 to its former glory? Lol

    Cheers in advance
    Dan

I have a Lynx 8300 kv on mine. I have had to reduce the throttle curve a bit.

Cool, is that a straight swap or does the frame or anything need modding at all? Cheers dude

The holes are the same as the standard motor but being an outrunner it is wider so you may need to cut away part of the frame to clear it. As it is a faster motor you might wish to fit a smaller pinion, in which case you will want to elongate the screw holes in the motor plate to get the pinion closer to the main gear.
