Is £185 steep for a collective pitch, 4-bladed heli with a scale fuselage and articulated torque tube?

Must confess - I'm quite tempted too! Must confess I agree with you Tom, there is a fair bit extra to this over the standard version. I also am drawn to the scale models but my flying has a long way to go before trying an expensive fuselage on my Raptor 50, this would keep me going especially at the indoor meets.

lets not forget it has a four blade head,raised tail and fuselage extra.The price is the first quoted, hopefully it may drop a bit more before or just after its release.

Yup I wouldn't mind another 450 X and its a lotta more heli for the 100 quid... Don't get me wrong I love the look of this one it's just my 130 is tiny compared to my 450 for the price difference. But then the 450X is a super bargain!

So basically after looking at the scale Tom linked for the 500, is there any 450 scale you can buy to fit a 450X? :-) that would be well cool!

I don't think there is any stock body's from Blade but you can buy a 450 size fuselage from fast lads that should fit with a bit of tweaking

Really. Like the look of that little thing may have to get one just to put on the side as it looks kool =D

Just had a look at FL and all the best scale is for a 500 class :-( might have to upgrade to a bit bigger heli ;-) good excuse as any ;-) ha ha
